September – the real start of the year for me. Still four months of the 2025 calendar year to go and so many exciting things coming up. I encourage you to take some time and set your intentions for the rest of 2025. As for me, below is a taste of what’s coming up:
- I’m excited to continue to work with the Lord Mayor and Bayes Business School and to be organising the CRO Network launch. If you haven’t already expressed your interest, you can do so here.
- I’m delighted to announce that I will be the keynote speaker at the AGRC Cyprus Risk Management event on November 4th. This will be my first trip to this beautiful island and they have an impressive line-up which you can see here.
- Continuing learning is so important for all of us, and my most significant personal investment in my education this year is in obtaining a Certificate in Geopolitical Analysis. This course is co-hosted by RANE and Florida Atlantic University. As a CRO, I want to sharpen how I think about geopolitics and how I integrate it with risk analysis and planning. Really looking forward to being in the virtual classroom with a group of like-minded peers and a great faculty.
- My online courses are going from strength to strength and from October 1st, they will be featured on the PRMIA website and available to PRMIA members. Thanks so much to Justin and Dana for their collaboration and support here.
- I’ve been very impressed by what I’ve seen so far from new Compliance solution on the block, ComplyStream. Spending some time with former colleague Karthik Dabbiru and his clever technology.
- And finally, whisper it, did someone say… new book? Perhaps in the Compliance space this time?? Interested in hearing more? DM me if this is your bag.
Add to that some personal trips to Switzerland, the Hudson Valley NY and Dublin and I would say that’s a pretty good plan to see out the year! Wishing you a wonderful autumn, whatever’s in store for you
